1. The association between prenatal Testosterone and Prostate Cancer Risk using an anthropometric marker derived from measuring the lengths of the fingers, the ratio of index-finger to ring-finger length (2D:4D), for men with and without prostate cancer over the age of 50.

2. COU-AA-301  A phase 3, randomized double-blind, placebo-controlled study of abiraterone acetate (CB7630) plus prednisone in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer who have failed docetaxel-based chemotherapy. (COUGAR).

3. AVO108943 A randomized double-blind parallel group study comparing Casodex 50 mg. plus placebo to Casodex 50mg plus dutasteride 3.5mg administered for 18 months to men with prostate cancer who have failed first-line androgen deprivation therapy (assessed by rising PSA) followed by a two-year extension. (TARP) Glaxo-Smith Kline.

Enrollment  pending. For rising PSA non-metastatic prostate cancer, (no prior Casodex). Please call Kathryn Morrow, RN, Clinical Coordinator 504-988-6736.

4. XRP6258- A Randomized, Open Label Multi-Center Study of XRP6258 At 25 mg/m2 in Combination With Prednisone Every 3 Weeks Compared To Mitoxantrone in Combination With Prednisone For The Treatment of Hormone Refractory Metastatic Prostate Cancer Previously Treated With A Taxotere®-Containing Regimen (TROPIC).

5. RTOG 0521 A Phase III Protocol of Androgen Suppression (AS) and 3DCRT/IMRT vs AS and 3DCRT/IMRT Followed by Chemotherapy with Docetaxel and Prednisone for Localized, High-Risk Prostate Cancer.

6. RTOG 0621 Adjuvant 3DCRT/IMRT in Combination with Androgen Suppression and Docetaxel for High Risk Prostate Cancer Patients Post-Prostatectomy: A Phase II Trial.

7. RTOG 0622:  A Phase II Trial of Samarium 153 Followed by Salvage Prostatic Fossa 3D-CRT or IMRT Irradiation in High-Risk, Clinically Non-Metastatic Prostate Cancer after Radical Prostatectomy.

8. SWOG S0421 Phase III Study of Docetaxel and Atrasentan versus Docetaxel and Placebo. For Patients with Advanced Hormone-Refractory Prostate Cancer.

9. A Phase III, Randomized, Placebo-controlled, Double-blind Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Once-daily Orally Administered ZD4054 10 mg in Non-metastatic Hormone-resistant Prostate Cancer Patients (AstraZeneca).
